As you may have heard, MSU raised a record $271.9 million during our last fiscal year, breaking previous records set in 2014 and 2015. This is all due in part to your support of the the Empower Extraordinary capital campaign efforts.

The Joe D. Pentecost Foundation supports several scholarships for students in the greater Lansing area, including awards for students who transfer from Lansing Community College to continue their studies at Michigan State University.

Million Dollar Endowment to Spur Student Entrepreneurship

The Forest Akers Trust established a $1 million endowment to fund MSU student business plans. The endowment supplements a $600,000 endowment established last year by the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation in support of student entrepreneurship.
