As you may have heard, MSU raised a record $271.9 million during our last fiscal year, breaking previous records set in 2014 and 2015. This is all due in part to your support of the the Empower Extraordinary capital campaign efforts.

Thank you to all who have contributed to our efforts! While this puts us much further ahead that we were before the campaign, we still have a long way to go. MSU still is dreadfully behind our peers in the number of distinguished fellowships available to graduate students, and we still have undergraduate students who have financial need unmet my scholarships or federal loans. For the remaining two years of this campaign, we will be focusing our efforts on increasing the number of privately-funded University Distinguished Fellowships and on filling the gap of unmet need for undergraduate students.
