Student Research in Inorganic Chemistry

Professor Rob LaDuca and his student Mr. Greg Farnum won the 2012 ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry Award for Undergraduate Research. Mr. Farnum has been invited to present the research at the 2012 Fall ACS meeting in Philadelphia.

Student Participation in Local ADDY Awards

Seventeen students from the College of Communication Arts & Sciences won a combined ADDY awards in the local-level competition. The ADDY awards is the world’s largest advertising competition. The competition includes three levels of judging (local, regional and national). The students’ work now qualifies to progress to the regional level of the competition. The students and their campaigns are listed below:

Trained to Jump Out of Airplanes... and to Carry the Burden of Care

Spartan Nurse Skip Shipley (Captain, U.S. Army Reserve) graduated from the ROTC in 1993, and later returned to MSU for his MSN. Scholarship and fellowship support helped him along the way.
