MSU student Denise Cruz was featured on NBC Nightly News this week for her accomplishments, going from migrant farm work to a Washington D.C. internship.

MSU student Denise Cruz was one of only four college students in the United States chosen by the National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Association to intern in Washington, D.C., this summer. The story of these four students was told on NBC Nightly News this week.

Did you know that MSU has an office for Migrant Student Services? The office works to advance education and "empower students from migrant and seasonal farm working communities to bring about positive change in their lives, communities, and the world."
