Tyler Thomas is studying management accounting at MSU. His fellowship allowed him to return to school, moving his family to Michigan from the state of Washington.

Tyler Thomas is a University Distinguished Fellow, studying accounting at Michigan State University. He came to Michigan State University because MSU has some of the best faculty in the country for management accounting. The University Distinguished Fellowship made it possible for him to move to Michigan from Washington with his family, and to move multiple projects forward during his program towards the publication process. At the time this interview was filmed he had three children and one more on the way that kept him busy outside of academia.
